Roadbed Started

So I finally stuck with a version of the layout and started putting down the roadbed. I am using cork for the roadbed. I secure it to the foam base with caulk. I put a bead of caulk along one side of the track center line and lay the cork on that. It actually works out pretty well so far. The caulk has a little bit of sticking power while it is still wet I can use less pins when shaping the roadbed into curves compared to if I was securing it with track nails.

I still have parts left to do. I will need to complete the roadbed.

Almost there

Here is a revised version of the layout that I think I will use. I hope it doesn't change much since I have already started drawing it out on the platform.
