Elevation + 3 in.

I have been working on adding some height to my layout. Here is a shot showing the hills that I have built up so far with the tunnel portals in front.

I tried several different techniques for building up the hills and found one that I liked. Place the foam on edge perpendicular to the face of the hill. Measure out the appropriate distance on one side for the foot of the hill and on the top of the hill on the other. Make a diagonal cut between the two for the face of the hill. You can see this technique on the far right and left of this image.
